2008 Supplier of the Year Winner
On Friday 5 December, Nestle Australia Limited was awarded the Woolworths Supplier of the Year title at the annual awards ceremony in Sydney.

Nestle Sales Director Mark Mackaness accepted the prestigious award, making Nestle the first company in the Supplier of the Year history to be awarded the honour twice. Previously, Nestle were named overall winner in 2004.

After winning two categories, including the Grocery over $50 million category and New Product Launch of the Year for Uncle Tobys Plus Antioxidant Cereal, Nestle were elated to again hold the title.

What is the Supplier of the Year program?
The Supplier of the Year Trade Partner program has simple objectives, based on the principle of continuous improvement, whilst providing constructive feedback on our combined performances, in the most important areas of our business.

The program is conducted through the collation of scores on each Trade Partner's performance across various areas of Woolworths business such as Finance, Merchandise Logistics, Stores and eBusiness.

Who can enter?
Any vendor currently selling their products through Woolworths who is on a Business Plan, are eligible to apply for the Supplier of the Year program. The 2009 program will open in February 2009.
