Casey

Casey was 'busting' to be a Hero, he has wanted to do something to  help the Hospital for some time.

10 year old Casey had a liver transplant 7 years ago at the tender age of 3 ½. The Doctors discovered at 2 months of age he had been born with a sick liver, he was a very sick baby. Casey has had only one rejection when he was 5 yrs age. Now he has medication twice a day and his blood results are very good. He has to go to Hospital every 3 months for check ups.

Casey's favourite things about the Hospital are the nice Dr's there, all the nurses like to help. He likes the Playground but his most FAVOURITE thing is the Starlight Room & Captain Starlight.

For fun Casey plays soccer and loves looking for bugs. He likes the movies and in summer likes to go to the pool. He likes eating fruit, popcorn, Maccas and Roast Chicken.

His favourite thing about school is playing with his friends, and his teacher Mr Kyrwood who helps him a lot.

Casey has 2 brothers Jesse (13) & Clay (almost 2). His favourite person is his brother Jesse, he says we fight a bit, but I love him. Casey likes to make people laugh and trying to make people happy.

If granted one wish, it would be that everyone in the world would be friends and there was no fighting. If he could change one thing in the world, it would be no one to go hungry or be sad.

Casey always thinks about the special person who gave him a second chance. He always asks his mum & dad questions. At school he gets special help with all his learning & is trying very hard every day. Casey loves his mum & dad and all the things they do for him.

Casey was desperate to be a Hero, he really wants to help kids that are sick, he can't wait to be a Hospital Hero and get started, so he says 'put me to work as fast as you can.'
