How can Woolworths offer the Guarantee? Woolworths have 25 years of expertise in working with fresh foods. Our stores and buyers partner with our farmers to ensure you get the best fresh food every time. As the last step before fresh food reaches you, your local Store Manager personally signs off on our Fresh or Free Guarantee. How do I access the Guarantee? If you are not satisfied with any food item you buy from Woolworths, the next time you shop with us, bring along your receipt and stop by the service desk. Speak to our friendly staff member and you’ll get a full refund and a replacement item.
Which products does the Guarantee apply to? Our Fresh or Free Guarantee applies to food items purchased right across the store.
What if I don’t want the same replacement item? If you’d rather not have the same item as a replacement, we’ll offer you a product of similar size, price and variety.
Can I access the Guarantee if I shop with Woolworths Online? Yes, but our Fresh or Free Guarantee is slightly different when you shop with Woolworths Online. If you’re not satisfied with one of your fresh food items, notify our Online team. You’ll receive a refund on the item as soon as possible and a credit for the item on your next Woolworths Online order.
Does that mean product instore is free if it’s not fresh? The Fresh or Free Guarantee applies to any food item purchased from the store. If you come across something instore that you’re not happy with, please let one of our staff know so it can be addressed promptly.
What happens if I don’t have a receipt? If you don’t have a receipt, please return with the product packaging and speak to one of our friendly staff members at the service desk.
