Char Siu Pork & Walnut Stir-Fry

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbs vegetable oil
  • 600g pork stir fry strips
  • 5 green shallots, thinly sliced
  • 150g green beans, trimmed, halved
  • 150g snow peas, trimmed, halved diagonally
  • 1/3 cup char siu sauce
  • 2 tbs water
  • 1/3 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
  • Fresh egg noodles or steamed rice, to serve

Method:

  1. Heat a wok over a high heat. Add 1 tsp oil and swirl around wok. Cook pork strips in batches for 1-2 minutes or until golden, adding a little more if necessary. Transfer to a large plate.
  2. Add green shallots, beans and snow peas to wok and stir fry for 1 minute. Add 1 tbs water and cover. Cook for 1 minute. Add char siu sauce, water, walnuts with pork. Toss until well combined and heated through. Spoon noodles onto serving plates. Top with stir-fry and serve immediately.
