Hello Kindred Spirit, The making of this tea has been somewhat of an experience. It started with a passion; introducing myself to unsuspecting passers-by on the streets and inviting them home to hear their tea drinking stories.
Then I travelled to Sri Lanka with 14kg of mountain pepper and lemon myrtle, away from my darling daughter Sienna, to source and blend the tea and get to know everyone involved staying at the same hotel as my mother had 50 years earlier. It's only tea I know, but small things can make a difference and my aim is to create an experience that in its small way adds something special to your day. Yours truly, Madame Flavour.
It was following- in the footsteps of any father 50 years before that I found one of my greatest travelling pleasures in India; milky, spicy, sweet Choi; straight from a shot glass local-style.
In these pyramids, I've blended whole cardamom and fennel seeds, pieces of cinnamon and organic Australian mountain pepper leaf for a tea that is a little spicy so warming chai on the streets, India.
