For many years, Woolworths support as both the largest food donor and pro bono freight provider, has enabled Foodbank to provide food relief to Australians, supporting over 2,900 local charities with increased assistance year on year.

This relationship has brought together thousands of team members working in Woolworths stores and distribution centres across all States and Territories of Australia, together with hundreds of teams and thousands of volunteers working in Foodbank warehouses, hubs and food relief centres.

Foodbank also plays a key role in disaster relief by providing essential supplies to support the work first responders and emergency services as well as the ongoing assistance of affected communities during the months and years it takes to recover. With the support of Woolworths customers and team, Foodbank Australia has provided 1.4 million emergency meals to disaster affected communities across every state and territory.
