Providing support to farmers in need
Woolworths is proud to partner with Rural Aid to support Australian farmers and rural communities facing hardship from natural disasters like drought, flood, and fire. Rural Aid’s mission is to ensure the sustainability of these communities during and after these challenging times.
Our commitment to supporting communities, especially those impacted by natural disasters, is central to this partnership. Together, we provide vital assistance, including hay, essential items, emergency funds, and counselling services to affected farmers.
Since 2018, through our S.T.A.N.D. partnership, Woolworths, our customers, team members have raised over $12 million. This significant contribution has enabled Rural Aid to respond to thousands of requests and support more than 17,000 farmers affected by natural disasters.
