What is Everyday Extra?

Everyday Extra from Everyday Rewards is a subscription service designed to save you extra on your everyday shopping. Your Everyday Extra subscription is linked to your Everyday Rewards membership, and gives you access to a whole new level of benefits to help you get extra value from your everyday shopping, including:

  • Extra Discount: 10% off one shop per calendar month at Woolworths, in-store or online

  • Extra Points: 2x Everyday Rewards points on every shop at Woolworths and BIG W, in-store and online (please note points exclusions apply on certain products)

  • Extra Perks: subscriber-only deals, free products and promotions from time to time

 

Do I need to be an Everyday Rewards member to join Everyday Extra?

Yes, Everyday Extra is only available to registered Everyday Rewards members. You must also remain an Everyday Rewards member if you wish to continue enjoying the benefits of Everyday Extra. If you cancel your Everyday Rewards membership your Everyday Extra subscription will also be cancelled.

 

How does Everyday Extra work with my Everyday Rewards membership?

Everyday Extra works side-by-side with your Everyday Rewards membership to help you stack on extra savings and benefits. When you subscribe to Everyday Extra, your Everyday Extra benefits will be activated on your Everyday Rewards account.

Simply keep scanning your Everyday Rewards Card at Woolworths and BIG W to enjoy your Extra Discounts, Extra Points and more. If you’re shopping online at Woolworths and BIG W, link your Everyday Rewards Card to your online accounts at Woolworths and BIG W to enjoy Everyday Extra benefits when you shop.

You can easily manage your Everyday Extra plan from your Everyday Rewards app and Everyday Rewards online account.

 

How does the free trial for Everyday Extra work?

New subscribers can try Everyday Extra benefits for free for a trial period. You'll be asked to choose between a monthly or annual plan when you sign up, but your applicable trial period is free and you won't be charged until your free trial ends.

No need to take notes on when your free trial ends - we’ll send you an email to remind you a few days before. You can continue rolling over your subscription into your chosen monthly or annual plan, or cancel your subscription. Please note that we aren’t able to provide a refund for change of mind if you choose to cancel your subscription after it rolls over onto a paid plan.

 

What should I do to enjoy Everyday Extra benefits once I’ve signed up to Everyday Extra?

Once you’re a subscriber, you can start enjoying your Everyday Extra benefits straight away using your Everyday Rewards Card and Everyday Rewards app. Make sure your Everyday Rewards Card is linked to your online accounts to enjoy your benefits on your online shops.

  • You’ll receive a 10% Extra Discount each calendar month, to use on one Woolworths shop of your choice. To use your discount while shopping in-store, simply follow the prompts at the checkout. If you’re shopping online, enter the monthly promo code at the checkout prior to completing your order. You’ll be able to access the promo code in both your Everyday Rewards app or your Everyday Rewards online account.

  • You’ll automatically receive Extra Points - 2 points for every dollar on eligible purchases at Woolworths and BIG W.*

I wasn’t able to subscribe.

There may be a few reasons why you aren’t able to sign up.

  • You must be a registered Everyday Rewards member to subscribe to Everyday Extra. If you have a temporary or paper card, please first register your card in order to subscribe to Everyday Extra. 

  • Make sure you enter your payment details within 10 mins when you land on the payment page. If not, the page will timeout. If this happens, simply close the payment page and re-open it again to proceed.

  • Your payment card must have a balance greater than zero. Check your balance details or try another card. Note your card will not get charged until the end of your free trial period.

 

Extra Discount

What is my Extra Discount, and how do I use it?

You’ll receive your 10% discount each month, which you can choose to use on one shop at Woolworths, in-store or online, every month. The discount can be applied on one shop up of your choice to a value of $500 at Woolworths each month - which means that’s up to $50 back in your pocket every month.

You’ll receive an email each month letting you know when your Extra Discount is available to use.

The discount is renewed at 12:01am (your local time) on the first day of every calendar month and expire at 11:59pm (your local time) on the last day of the calendar month.

  • Shopping in-store? Simply scan your Everyday Rewards Card at the checkout at Woolworths and choose to use your 10% off when you pay. Look out for the prompt at the checkout. 
  • Shopping online? Link your Everyday Rewards Card to your Woolworths Online account and use the promo code at the checkout, on one shop before the end of the month. You can find the promo code:
    - In the Everyday Extra page in your Everyday Rewards app
    - In your Everyday Rewards online account under My Account > Everyday Extra

You’ll also need to have signed up for an online account at Woolworths and link your Everyday Rewards Card in order to use the promo code.

 

I currently enjoy 10% off my shop at Woolworths as an Everyday Insurance, or Mobile customer. Will I get another 10% off each month from Everyday Extra?

Yes, if you’re an Everyday Insurance or Everyday Mobile customer, you will receive a 10% Extra Discount from Everyday Extra each month in addition to your monthly discount from Everyday Insurance or Everyday Mobile.

You’ll have the option at the in-store checkout to choose to use either your Extra Discount, or your Everyday Insurance or Everyday Mobile discount on your shop at Woolworths.

Please note that the Extra Discount cannot be applied to the same shop as your Everyday Insurance or Everyday Mobile discount.

 

How many times can I use my Extra Discount?

You can apply your Extra Discount to one shop at Woolworths every month, either in-store or online, with a transaction value of up to $500.

 

Can I use my 10% Extra Discount on my online shop?

Yes. The Extra Discount is available to use either in-store or online at Woolworths once every month. You need to make sure your Everyday Rewards Card is linked to your Woolworths Online account. Use the monthly promo code available in the Rewards app or your Rewards online account.

 

Where can I find the Extra Discount promo code to use on my online shop at Woolworths?

  • In the Everyday Extra page in your Everyday Rewards app

  • In your Everyday Rewards online account under My Account > Everyday Extra

Don’t forget to link your Everyday Rewards Card to your Woolworths Online accounts to collect your Extra Points and enjoy your Extra Discount when shopping online. 

 

What products can I not apply my Extra Discount on?

The Extra Discount cannot be used for or on any smoking or tobacco products and accessories, liquor, gift cards (including iTunes), mobile recharge, Everyday Mobile, travel cards, tickets, cash outs, delivery charges (including Delivery Unlimited items), bag fees, donations, Carpet Care, lottery products, pre-order kiosks, purchases on a charge account, pre-orders, lay-by fees, remote and bulk orders or Everyday Market from Woolworths orders, any purchases made at the Everyday Rewards Shop and any purchases made at Ampol Woolworths Metro and MetroGo stores.

If you are eligible for the ‘10% off your shop once a month’ offer (“Services Offer”) available to eligible Everyday Mobile, and Everyday Insurance customers, you cannot redeem that Services Offer on the same transaction as the Extra Discount.

 

Extra Points

How do the Extra Points of 2x points work alongside my Everyday Rewards points boosters?

With Everyday Extra you’ll receive 1 bonus point for every* dollar spent on every shop at Woolworths and BIG W, in-store and online, in addition to your usual 1 point for every* dollar you collect with Everyday Rewards. You can still enjoy points boosters with Everyday Rewards alongside your Extra Points.

* There are a small number of purchases on which you won't collect Everyday Rewards points. For details, see this FAQ.

 

What purchases will I collect 2x points on?

You’ll collect Extra Points of 1 bonus point for every dollar spent at Woolworths and BIG W, in-store and online. There are a small number of products which you won’t collect Extra Points on, such as smoking products, gift cards, mobile recharge, travel cards and delivery charges. You can easily track your Extra Points in your Everyday Rewards app and online account.

 

Extra Perks

What kind of Extra Perks will I receive?

At Everyday Extra we love brightening your everyday. Extra Perks are little surprises we’ll send your way from time to time throughout your subscription. 

These could be free products we think you might enjoy, special promotions or subscriber-only deals at BIG W and other partners.

Keep a lookout for them in your email and Rewards app. 


NB: You must be over 16 years of age to receive Extra Perks. Including your date of birth on your Rewards account will ensure you get offered an Extra Perk

 

Managing your subscription

Where can I see my overall savings and points collected from my Everyday Extra subscription?

You can easily track the Extra Discount and Extra Points you receive with Everyday Extra in the Everyday Extra page in the Everyday Rewards app or in Everyday Extra page under My Account on the website. Please note that your benefit summary may take up to 2 days to update after a shop or online delivery.

 

What does cancelling the auto-renewal of the subscription refer to?

You can cancel the automatic renewal of your Everyday Extra subscription at any time to stop any further monthly or annual payments. If you cancel your plan, you’ll still be able to access Everyday Extra benefits until the end of your current billing period.

Cancel any time through your Everyday Rewards app under “Manage your subscription” in the Everyday Extra page, or online from the Everyday Extra page under the “My Account” section.

 

If I cancel my annual subscription before the renewal date, will I get a refund for the unused portion?

Unfortunately not. On an annual plan you will be billed at the start of the 12 month period and will not be able to receive a refund for unused periods if you have changed your mind.

 

Do I need to be opted in to receive marketing communications to receive benefits from Everyday Extra?

We’ll still send you key updates and information about your Everyday Extra subscription (including information about benefits that form part of your subscription), even if you are not opted in to marketing communications, to ensure you receive the benefits that form part of your Everyday Extra subscription. To update your communications preferences log in to your Everyday Rewards account.

 

Can I pause my subscription?

There is currently no ability to pause your subscription.

 

How do I change my plan from monthly to annual, or vice versa?

You can change your existing plan to a monthly or annual plan at any time, including during your free trial period, by heading to the Everyday Extra page in the Everyday Rewards app; or the Everyday Extra page under “My Account” on the website. Then click on “Manage your subscription”  and scroll down to the “Plan details” section and follow the prompts.
