Frequently asked questions
Wrapping the perfect Christmas present is easy with a few simple steps.
1. Measure the paper: Place your item on the wrapping paper and pull it up both sides to ensure it covers the gift entirely with a few centimetres of overlap. Cut the paper.
2. Secure the centre: Pull the paper tightly across the center of the item and secure it with a piece of clear sticky tape.
3. Fold the ends: Press the side flaps inward against the box to form two neat triangles at the top and bottom. Fold the top triangle down, then pull the bottom triangle up tightly and secure with tape.
4. Finish with flair: Flip the gift over and add a festive ribbon and a personalised gift tag.

Handmade gifts add a personal touch to Christmas gift giving. Some of our favourite do it yourself Christmas gift ideas include:
- Edible treats: Whip up a batch of classic White Christmas slice, festive shortbread cookies, or traditional rum balls. Package them up nicely in glass jars wrapped with a festive ribbon.
- DIY hampers: Curate a hamper tailored to the person. Gather a selection of premium cheeses, crackers, and chocolates to build a gourmet grazing basket.
- DIY beauty boxes: Create the perfect budget-friendly pamper present with scented candles, hydrating face masks and more beauty favourites.
- Handmade cards: A handmade card is a keepsake they'll treasure. Get kids involved using everyday craft and stationery supplies to create something special, from painted handprints to dried pasta flower cards.

Kris Kringle and Secret Santa are two names for the same Christmas gift-giving tradition. Participants draw random names to become an anonymous gift giver to one person in a group, usually sticking to a strict budget, like gifts under $20. The identity of the giver remains a secret until the present is unwrapped.
What is the difference between Secret Santa and Kris Kringle?
The only difference is in the name. The term Secret Santa is widely used in the US and UK, while Kris Kringle is the traditional term favoured in Australia and New Zealand.
