As summer approaches and you begin bringing cooling appliances out of storage, we are sharing an important safety reminder regarding a product purchased from Woolworths.
Please note that this is a follow-up reminder for an existing product recall originally issued on 11 December 2025.

Adesso 45cm High Velocity Pedestal Fan
Brand: Adesso
Reason: Mechanical damage to the supply cord’s insulation may occur during use of the fan, exposing the user to live parts.

Model Number: FSW-45S (found on fan motor)
Reason: The Adesso 45cm High Velocity Pedestal Fan is being recalled because mechanical damage to the supply cord’s insulation may occur during use, which may expose the user to live parts. Hazard: Risk of serious injury or death from electric shock or electrocution if the user is exposed to live parts.
Distribution: This product was sold exclusively at Woolworths Supermarkets, both instore and online.
Required Actions:
- Check your appliances: Inspect any fans in your home or storage to see if the model number matches FSW-45S (found on fan motor).
- Stop use immediately: If you have this model, unplug it right away and discontinue use.
- Return for a full refund: Bring the affected fan to any Woolworths Supermarket for a complete refund. No receipt is required.
