Smart Basket is a shopping feature designed to save you time by predicting the items you are likely going to buy at any given time.  It is a new experience that leverages predictive AI to jumpstart your shop, saving your time and reducing your mental load.

 

The feature uses your past purchase history and frequency to build your basket. By analysing your historical data the system predicts which products you are most likely to need right now, reducing the mental load of starting a shop from scratch. You can easily remove any items you don’t want within the feature. You can also add items we might have missed using search in the Woolworths app.

 

Smart Basket currently has a “Beta” label because we are working on improving this feature based on real life interactions.  We are refining our data models to ensure suggestions get better and more accurate over time based on what you add or remove.

 

No. You have full control to review, refine, and adjust the suggested list. You can remove what you don’t need or adjust quantities before choosing to "Add all to cart" or "Add to list".

 

Since Smart Basket relies on your individual shopping patterns to make predictions, you will need to be logged in and have a past shopping history to use this feature.
