Cooking Method: Pan Fry or BBQ

Bring the steak to room temperature. Then, lightly oil and season well with salt.
Step 2 of 5
Sear the steak in a hot pan to seal in the juices.
Step 3 of 5
Rib Eye and New York Strip: Cook for 3 mins each side (rare) 4 mins each side (medium), 5 ½ mins each side (well done).
Eye Fillet: Cook for 3½ mins each side (rare) 4½ mins each side (medium), 6½ mins each side (well done).
