Kemmie Food Grade Calcium Hydroxide Powder is a high purity mineral compound with the chemical formula Ca(OH)2. Commonly known as slaked lime or pickling lime, it is traditionally used in food preparation processes such as vegetable pickling and nixtamalisation when preparing corn for tortillas.

This product conforms to Food Chemicals Codex (FCC) food additive specifications and is supplied as a fine white powder in a resealable pouch for convenient storage. Calcium hydroxide forms an alkaline solution when mixed with water and should be handled carefully to avoid contact with eyes or skin.

This product is supplied as a food processing ingredient and is not intended for direct consumption.

Safety Note: Avoid inhaling dust and avoid contact with eyes and skin. Calcium hydroxide may cause skin irritation, serious eye damage and respiratory irritation if dust is inhaled.

RETURNS POLICY

We provide 30 days money back guarantee for all our products. For certain products, we have extended money back guarantee up to 6 months and even 12 months (refer to the individual product descriptions for more info). Please contact us to make a return request.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Please note for change of mind or wrong product purchased returns, a 20% restocking fee could apply.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)

• Book with obvious signs of use
• CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened
• Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
• Some items that are returned more than 30 days after delivery

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.

Shipping

For change of mind returns, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

For returns due to our fault, we will supply you with a reply paid address so you don't have to pay for return postage.
