Hay should form the bulk of your rabbit's or Guinea pig's diet. They need to eat hay in the early morning and late evening to help move food through the digestive tract at the proper rate. Also, chewing hay will aid in keeping the ever-growing teeth of your cavy or rabbit in check. Supplement with other standard feed for rabbits and Guinea pigs.
