This piece features an arched, rust-coloured pierced-metal backdrop, patterned with branches and swirling circles of dots. Sized to complement The Holy Family nativity set.

This pierced-metal backdrop was created to complement The Holy Family, though it can be used as a beautiful backdrop for other angels or figures as well. “The repetitive swirling concentric mark-making is suggestive of twinkling stars at night. The roof is an intertwined, organic structure that suggests a bower of twigs or branches. Since the surface patterning is complex with tiny elements, I wanted to pare down the form to the simplest possible. It's basically a single sheet of pierced metal, curved to allow it to stand and represent a shelter for The Holy Family and animals.” -Susan Lordi
We aim to dispatch all orders on the same day when placed before Midday Sydney time on business days. Orders placed after midday or on weekends will dispatch on the next business day.
Returns / Change of Mind Policy:
CHANGE OF MIND RETURNS: In order for us to process a change of mind return you must make contact via email or phone within 7 days of receiving your order. Once your return request has been approved you must return the item in as-new condition, with all original packaging. Refunds are offered on the purchase value less the cost of shipping. Items received back not in as-new condition are processed at our discretion depending on the saleability of the item.
ITEMS ARRIVING DAMAGED: While we package our orders very well and take every care when dispatching, occasionally items can arrive damaged. If you have received a damaged item please contact us.
We will request a photo of the damaged goods so we can assess and offer an appropriate solution.
We may ask that you return the damaged item to us. If this is the case, we will provide a prepaid return label for you to attach to the package and take to the post office. When returning an item please ensure it is packaged well to prevent further damage.
Once we have received the damaged item back to us, we can arrange a replacement or a refund.
