• A rare oil native to Morocco, Argan is highly valued for its nutritive, beautifying and medicinal properties. In ancient times the Berbers of Morocco would collect the oil for use in cosmetics. Argan oil contains tocopherols (vitamin E), phenols, carotenes, squalene, and essential fatty acids. 

• Amino acids are the basis of proteins that make up hair. These include: serine, threonine, valine, arginine, aspartic acid, alanine, proline, isoleucine, phenylalanine and histidine. These amino acids have a natural affinity with hair and can penetrate the cuticle providing moisture deeper inside the hair shaft.
