Low Latency Bluetooth audio transmitter with Optical support
Recommended Uses:
- Bluetooth-enable TV, PC, AV Receiver, TV Box, and other devices.
- Support Digital OPTICAL, RCA (TV / DVD), AUX or PC USB audio output ports.
- Works with ALL Bluetooth headphones & speakers in single link mode.
- For Dual link mode - works best with Two Bluetooth headphones.
- Supports aptX-Low Latency for 2 compatible (atX-LL) headphones in dual link mode.
Doesn't work / not recommended for:
- Many headphones / speakers (e.g. Bose, Beats, Sony) are primarily for music, not watching TV and do not support aptX-LL. The Audikast will connect with these devices using another codec (e.g. SBC, aptX), resulting in a 70-200ms audio delay which may be noticeable by some users.
- This is a Class 1 Bluetooth transmitter - proven to reach up to 100'. However, your range will depend on several factors - see details below Q1.
- For TV optical output - set audio format to PCM. Dolby / DTS is not supported.
- Not compatible with ANY RCA output on back of AV Receiver / amplifier.
- When using the transmitter the TV internal speakers might not work or become muted. This is TV dependent - please see details in Q2 below.

Q1: What range can I expect?
- This is a Class 1 Bluetooth device and can achieve up to 100ft (30m) in open air line-of-sight conditions.
- TWS earbuds and other small, compact devices often have miniaturized internal antennae which can impact the overall range.
- In general, operation range can be affected by physical obstructions (walls, people, etc.), wireless interference (Wi-Fi routers, Wireless TV adapters etc.) as well as the reception of the receiving device.
- Single link connections have better range when compared to dual link connections (please see examples below).

Q2: My TV speakers go silent (become muted) when I use the Avantree Bluetooth transmitter. Can I make them work simultaneously while using the transmitter?
This is a TV feature and its availability depends on your TV make and model.
For many models of TV, the built-in speakers might not work if you choose to use an external speaker. They will either automatically mute when you plug something into an audio output port (AUX, RCA, Optical, etc.) or they become disabled once you choose "External Speakers"...Delivery
