OVERVIEW
This standard prime lens with a 55mm focal length and large F1.8 maximum aperture offers stunning ZEISS Sonnar contrast and resolution for full-frame E-mount bodies. It can also create gorgeous background bokeh to set off your subject when needed. The big, bright maximum aperture means you can shoot handheld in low-light conditions while still getting outstanding sharpness and clarity.
Features
- Renowned ZEISS contrast and resolution bring out the best in full frame image sensors such as those in the Sony a7 series, and a large F1.8 maximum aperture can produce beautiful full-frame background bokeh. You can also stop down for extended depth-of-field. A bright lens like this is also an advantage when shooting in low light.
- A 9-blade circular aperture works with this lens's state-of-the-art optics to create beautifully smooth bokeh in out-of-focus background areas when desired, with natural-looking highlights that won't distract from the important foreground subject and details.
- Advanced technology from ZEISS and Sony combines in a precision optical design with three aspherical elements, two double-sided, that effectively reduce all forms of aberration while achieving outstanding image-wide sharpness and contrast. The ZEISS T* coating suppresses internal reflections, for sublime contrast from highlights to deep blacks.
Orders are usually sent out within two business days, and you can expect to receive them within 5-10 business days.
At RYDA, we understand that your order is delivered promptly and with the utmost care; we use Star Track Express and Australia Post with a signature. If no one is home, your delivery will normally be redirected to the Local Australia Post Office for collection over the counter with a Photo ID. Please note that bulky deliveries over 5kg and in a few areas where it is not possible to redirect to the post office, the parcel may be held at the local courier depot instead. Where possible, our warehouse will try and use recycled cartons for our deliveries, just as safe and sturdy as a new carton but more friendly to the environment.
All returned products must be in new condition without damage to any of the packaging and contain all original packaging, manuals, accessories and other documentation as supplied by the manufacturer. If the item is returned in any condition other than new, a restocking fee may be applicable; see below.
OPENED and USED items are subject to approval depending on the condition of the unit and packaging. Any product returned to us that has been trialled, installed, used or demonstrated may be rejected. A minimum of 20% restocking fee applies to refunds and exchanges.
Any product returned with damage to the product, packaging, or removal of any bar code or manufacturer's label will be rejected and returned at the customer's cost.
Any items missing from the returned product will be subject to a replacement charge and deducted from the total refund amount, in addition to a restocking fee.
Return requests for commercial quantities must be approved case-by-case and may be subject to additional conditions.
Goods should be received at the warehouse within 2 weeks from the APPROVED return authorisation unless previously arranged.
