This whale is made from upcycled natural rubber which is just as natural as the giants of the oceans, plant based, completely plastic-free and non-toxic.

This whale is made with Hevea's brand new and innovative closing mechanism, which prevents inside mould. All you've got to do is open the belly and dry after use. When re-entering the tub, it can be sealed by the same mechanism and start splashing again.

Hevea's upcycled bath toys are made from high-quality leftover or cut-out material from their natural rubber production. Instead of throwing away the material, they're turning trash into treasure, giving it new life and minimising waste to make truly positive fingerprints on the planet.

HEVEA(R) Squeeze'N'Splash toys should be opened after every single use. With the innovative closing mechanism, it's really not rocket science - it's actually very easy to open (and pretty easy to close too).

It's easy to rinse it with lukewarm water - both inside and out. Alternatively, it can be cleaned in a machine especially suitable for rubber, but please don't wash it in a dishwasher. HEVEA(R) Squeeze'N'Splash toys should be dried both inside and outside after every single use and then left to dry completely. This will extend the life of the toy, which is both good for your wallet and for the planet.

If the toys are dirty or have been in humid conditions for a longer period of time, you can consider using vinegar to rinse it. Mix four parts white vinegar to one part warm water. Submerge the toys completely or apply the solution to each toy with a sponge.

When the bathing toy is not in use, dry it and keep in a clean and dry place, out of direct sunlight and heat. Produced from 100% natural rubber latex.

The colours are natural and may fade over time. Natural rubber is a natural material that changes over time.

Historically, HEVEA began as a question that needed an answer: how to take care of our children and our planet just a little bit better. That makes everything quite simple for us: we were born of an urge to do better. The lack of natural options for our future generations and the choices we have to make was what made us turn to Hevea Brasiliensis - natural rubber, and this has formed the basis of our mission and our purpose from the very beginning.

PLASTIC IS PASSE, NATURAL IS NOW

Hevea, or natural rubber, can replace many kinds of plastic. Hevea decomposes naturally and can be reused to make new products. The wood of the tree itself and the rubber are our only self-imposed limitations when it comes to designing and developing new products. However, this hardly feels limiting as we are still getting to know these materials better and better. In all our curiosity, we keep firmly in contact with our roots and our reason for being here: to give you the option of creating a fingerprint that is slightly better than the one we inherited.

Great design & natural materials

Geographically, our mix is unique. While the hevea trees grow mainly in Southeast Asia, and much of our production requires skills and facilities found close to the plantations where the hevea is harvested, our design philosophy is inherently Danish. Unifying the beautiful design with clear functionality is the core of the renowned Danish design tradition, and we stick to this in discovering and developing all that our cherished hevea can offer.
