The Gold Miner's Excavation Kit lets you excavate gold-like stone from a special plaster block!
Use the tools and techniques of a geologist to carefully unearth four pieces of iron pyrite concealed within the plaster.
As you work, you will see the form of your stones begin to take shape. It's buried treasure for you to keep!
Inside this kit are four pieces of iron pyrite. Commonly called Fool's Gold, it is renowned for its cubic crystal structure and shiny appearance.
Directions:
- Place the block on an easy to clean surface or a large sheet of paper.
- Use the digging tool to gently scrape away the plaster. When you see the object continue digging very carefully. Dig away all the plaster around the object before removing it. Continue digging until all four specimens have been found.
- Remove the remaining plaster with the brush. The items can also be washed with water.
- Use the magnifier to more closely examine the specimens.
