Every successful Goodnature trapper has a pouch of pre-feed paste in their trapping toolkit. It gets rats and mice used to the smell and taste of our Chocolate paste, and once the pre-feed is gone, they'll follow their noses up into the trap and KAPOW!
Pre-feeding is easy. Simply unscrew the pouch and smear Chocolate pre-feed paste on and around your trap. Because all our products, including this one are 100% toxin-free, you won't have to worry about poisoning pets, wildlife or children who might come into contact with it.
Don't forget to remove other food sources.
Rats and mice are creatures of habit - they find one safe, known food source and stick to it. When putting out your Goodnature trap make sure you remove all other food sources - animal feed, pet food, rubbish, compost, and any fallen fruit. Once those competing food sources are gone, your local rats and stoats will have a reason to take a risk and seek out a new food source - the Chocolate pre-feed paste. Pretty soon it'll become their new favourite food source, and they'll start searching for more, inside your Goodnature trap!
Which pre-feed paste is best?
According to our field trials, all of our rat, mouse and stoat pastes are equally effective when it comes to attracting those pesky pests into your Goodnature trap. But, if you want to try something new, have a preference for one flavour over the other or you think the resident rodents at your place might like another one better, give Nut Butter or Chocolate a go.

Providing clear details and photos will help the Everyday Market Partner assess the issue and work with you to resolve it quickly. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law still apply.
