3x Brighter Colours with Epson Projectors*

Brilliant image quality requires high colour brightness (colour light output), and Epson® 3LCD projectors have 3 x Brighter Colours than leading competitive projectors*. One brightness measurement (lumens) is not enough. A projector's specification needs to show both high colour brightness and high white brightness. If colour brightness is lower than white brightness, images may be dark, dull and lose detail. If not provided, be sure to ask for a projector's colour brightness specification.

Enhanced connectivity with NFC

With the NFC function, the projector can be turned on automatically and connected wirelessly by simply touching an NFC compatible smartphone to the projector. Epson iProjection can also be connected automatically once the compatible smartphone has been connected. Conventional cumbersome wireless settings are no longer necessary.

HDMI connectivity and MHL

Quick, convenient control

The Epson 1700 series is easier to control than ever through its Auto Power On feature. There is no need to turn on the power using the remote control or the power button on the projector itself because startup is activated with cable insertion.
With Sleep Mode (A/V Mute) you can pause your presentation without turning the projector off. The 1700 series also enables you to quickly power down the projector, pack up and go with its Instant Off^® feature, allowing you to control your projector with the flip of a switch.
