Depending on the products purchased your delivery will be made using Appliances Online's own delivery trucks (large items), and or Australia Post's national delivery distribution service (small items).
Large Items
Delivered for FREE by Appliances Online trucks. We will even unpack and remove the packaging as well as take away the old disconnected appliance if required (all for FREE of course). Once you have completed your purchase our system will process your order and confirm your delivery date. In the unfortunate event we have to change it, we'll be in touch to confirm a new date. On the day of delivery our drivers will call you before 10am with an approximate 2 hour delivery window. However, if your delivery is scheduled for 8am or earlier (deliveries can be made as early as 6:30am), your driver will call you as they leave the warehouse. We offer free setup and connection of fridges, washing machines and dryers (conditions apply) only. Keep in mind: All items must be signed for and your driver will need to sight a photo ID (this can be a representative of the person who has placed the order). Old appliances being removed from your home must be similar to the new appliance to be delivered, and fully disconnected from power, water and gas (gas disconnections must be performed by a licensed plumber) prior to our arrival.
Small Items
This product will be delivered free of charge by Australia Post's reliable national distribution service. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide a set delivery date, though these packages usually arrive in 2-6 days. To ensure a safe and secure delivery, you will be required to sign for the package when it arrives at the delivery address. If you are unable to receive the delivery, the package will be taken to the nearest Post Office, and a note from Australia Post will be left in your letterbox. You will need to provide proof of ID when collecting the parcel from the Post Office. For full delivery terms and conditions via Australia Post, please visit Australia Post's website.
Orders will need to be placed before the 12th of December for delivery before Christmas.
What happens if you’re not home to accept delivery?
If we're delivering the item with our own trucks, your delivery will be rescheduled to the next available delivery day. If Australia Post is delivering the item, they'll take it to the nearest Post Office, and leave a note in your letterbox. You'll need to provide proof of ID when collecting the parcel from the Post Office.
When can you return or exchange a product?
If your item has not been unboxed and packaging remains intact, we are able to return the item for a full refund, if notified within 7 days of the date of delivery. Your refund will be processed once the item has been returned and assessed to be in good condition. Please note that items that have been used or installed are not eligible to be returned for either a store credit or refund.
If you notice an appliance has been delivered to you in a damaged condition, you must report it to the driver on site or customer service team, as soon as possible. Damaged appliances are not to be installed/connected/used.
For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept mattress returns as a result of customer error or due to a change of mind. The only mattresses we can accept a return are the Universe Bed Co Mattresses as a part of their 120 night trial.
Of course, nothing in this returns policy limits or excludes any guarantees, warranties, representations or conditions implied or imposed by law, including the Australian Consumer Law ("ACL") (or any liability under them) which by law may not be limited or excluded. If you are a "consumer" under the ACL, the following notice applies to you: "Our goods come with warranties and guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law ("Consumer Guarantees"). You are entitled to a replacement or a refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
