This Zojirushi, Made in Japan, Rice cooker and warmer comes with a Premium Taste setting known in Japan as Umami. By prolonging the soaking at the ideal temperature before cooking the rice is given more time to release its internal sugars into the water. Once cooking begins, these dissolved sugars reattach themselves to the outer surface of the rice, making the rice taste sweeter when cooked. The Umami Setting also extends the steaming time at the end of the cooking cycle. The GABA Brown Rice setting offers an ingenious new method of cooking brown rice that can augment its renowned health benefits. The GABA Brown Rice setting “activates” brown rice by soaking it at 40°C for 2 hours before the actual cooking begins. Proper activation can boost the level of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), an amino acid that occurs naturally in brown rice, to 150%. GABA is believed to help lower blood pressure, improve kidney function and relieve stress. In addition to these main features, this rice cooker also comes with a Slow cook setting suitable for simmering/preparing soup as well as a thicker or thinner option for congee. The LCD also has a clock with a timer function up to 13 hours in advance.

If you're unavailable for delivery and the product is returned to our warehouse, re-delivery fees may apply.

 Returns / Change of Mind Policy:

Customers are entitled to an exchange or refund if the products you’ve purchased are faulty in materials and workmanship. 

Where a problem with a product is not evaluated as a major fault, Hello Kitchen can offer repair or replacement for the item if it becomes defective within the warranty period. 

We offer a 30-day return policy from the day of receipt of the item. Return only be accepted for unused and in the original package and in the same condition as when the customer received them to receive a full refund. The customer is responsible for return postage costs and a refund can be issued after inspecting the returned item.

Excluded items: Infrared Saunas and Toilet Bidets are not accepted for change of mind return. 

Warranty Policy: 

Our Electrical Appliances always come with a one-year manufacturer’s warranty, warranties are individual to each product, and held with the manufacturers or distributor of the Brands.  If an electrical failure occurs in a product covered by the warranty, we will arrange for an authorized maintenance person to repair the product at our sole discretion; otherwise, if the product cannot be repaired, we will replace the product or related parts with the same or equivalent product or part. 

The Warranty does not apply to Product that:

• The defect is a result of alteration, accident, misuse, abuse, or neglect.

• Has been damaged accidentally or damaged by a third party

• It has failed due to excessive usage beyond what is considered to be reasonable.

• Inner-pot of the rice cooker is not covered by warranty due to scratching or any wear and tear of the non-stick pot coating
