Tay Wilson is a singer/songwriter based out of Minneapolis, MN that although is a fresh face as a solo artist, is no stranger to the music scene. With the vision clear, he surrounded himself with Producers Mark Alan of Emmanuel LIVE and Atlantic Records artist Eric Arjes of Camera Cant Lie and Vinyl Hearts. Once the tunes were situated, Tay called upon friends of old and new to assist as guest musicians for his debut record, including members of The Afters, Mainstay, and Camera Cant Lie, among others. With a repertoire of gigs at churches, festivals, colleges and camps, Tay has been given great opportunities to communicate real life issues and the gospel in effective ways. To him, its about meeting people where theyre at; no matter the joys, no matter the flaws. Hes been known to engage his audience by sharing personal experiences, and jumps at the chance to share grace and love with people of all walks. Tay can currently be seen touring the United States as Bass Guitarist and Background Vocalist for Emmy Award Winning Pop/Rock band Boiling Point. Tays most recent album entitled Brand New People, which is available now in select stores or on iTunes, has opened the door to share the stage with diverse national acts like FFH, Remedy Drive, Rachael Lampa, Abandon Kansas, Chris Sligh, Rachel Kurtz, Write This Down, Agape, Camera Cant Lie, Nicole Serrano, and Superchick. Tay has also had the opportunity to provide music for events featuring comedians Bob Stromberg, Joey I.L.O., Daren Streblow, and Wes Halula, as well as authors/speakers Mark Yaconelli, Nadia Bolz-Weber, Mark DeVries, Tiger McLuen, George Barna, Presiding Bishop Mark Hanson and Brian Head Welch of the band KORN In addition to churches, Tay has performed at Junior High Youth Gatherings, Lutheran Camps, Synod Events, Seminary Events, and the Youth Ministry Network Extravaganza.
