The Legacy of Hank Levy honors a man who made his lifes work the composition and teaching of a specifically American musical genre, jazz. Levys arrangements consistently employed unusual time signatures and harmonies. He served as an arranger for Stan Kenton and the Don Ellis Orchestra, as well as founder and long-time director of Towson Universitys Jazz Program.
