East Texas Country Outfit JB & The Moonshine Band was born in 2009 when singer/songwriter JB Patterson decided to give up on his advertising career and start a band. When JB coordinated and open call audition in Tyler, TX, only three people showed up. He might have been disappointed in the lack of response, but when he heard them play, he realized that he couldnt have hand-picked a better band himself. The four became JB & The Moonshine Band, comprised of drummer Gabe Guevara, guitarist Hayden McMullen, bassist Chris Flores, and lead singer JB Patterson on banjo and guitar. They immediately threw together a PA, rented a UHaul van, and started taking gigs throughout east Texas. In spring 2010, JB & The Moonshine band opened for Colt Ford. the groups raw sound, outlaw attitude, and original material caught Fords attention and he quickly signed the band to his label, Average Joes Entertainment. Average Joes Released JB & The Moonshine Bands debut album, "Aint Goin Back To Jail" and their sophomore effort "Beer For Breakfast". Both records combined to produce six Top-10s and three consecutive #1s on the Texas billboard chart.
