A Fistful of Dollars - Hollywood Soundmakers CD
A Fistful of Dollars - Hollywood Soundmakers CD
The Hollywood Soundmakers performing music from "A Fistful of Dollars" composed by Ennio Morricone, the influential film composer who rose to fame with his film scores of Italian filmmaker Sergio Leones highly entertaining "Spaghetti" Westerns. All selections newly remastered.Additional Info: Though the mid-1960s folk-pop group We Five broke up in 1967, their several subsequent reformations produced some intriguingly eclectic releases. This set of pop songs from the late 1960s includes a peppy cover of George Harrison's "Here Comes the Sun," an oddly raunchy version of Don Gibson's "Oh, Lonesome Me," a bluesy take on Dylan's "Tomorrow Is a Long Time," and, most authentically, their folky rendition of the Donovan title track, displaying both the band's versatility and its search for a meaningful musical direction.Specifics
