The Hungarian-born pianist Klra Wrtz has made a name for herself through her international concert career and her numerous recordings, including award-winning sets of Mozart and Schumann. Now she turns to the deceptively simple word of the Schubert Impromptus popular pieces often attempted by amateur pianists. She discovers a world of intense emotions, from peaceful beauty to tragic despair, the musical language of the late piano sonatas and Winterreise.
