This musical adventure between vocalist Cathy Segal-Garcia and pianist Yoonseung Cho is an example of joy, passion, sweet sadness, friendship and fun! Cho is a well-known and respected musician and arranger, world-wide. He grew up in Argentina, and as a young pianist, was suggested to be a student at the Thelonius Monk Institute by Herbie Hancock. Cathy is a veteran jazz singer, whose eclectic styles have covered all styles of jazz and lean toward the more modern. Meeting in Los Angeles, through the owner of L.A. premier modern jazz club, The Blue Whale...Joon Lee, an exciting jazz singer himself...Cho and Cathy found themselves attracted musically to each other, as did fans! This recording is a mix of Originals by Cathy, compositions by other jazz artists such as Jimmy Rowles and Pat Metheny, and includes one of Stings most loved song, Fragile.
