British Curtiss P-40B / Tomahawk Mk IB - Forces of Valor FOV-812060A
The Curtiss Tomahawk flew overseas at the beginning of WWII. The aircraft operated with the Commonwealth and Royal Air Force, as well as in sixteen other squadrons. The RAF continued its usage on all fronts of WWII, including the North African campaigns. With their formidable bodies, the Tomahawk could withstand major damage and was a clear threat to the supremacy of the Regia Aeronautica and the Luftwaffe. This 1/72 diecast replica depicts RAF's 112 squadron, during its service in North Africa as seen in October 1941.
