When my husband Dwight died suddenly, I was so broken, I didnt think I could go on without him. Losing a close family member or friend brings intense grief and depression that can leave us physically, emotionally, and spiritually numb, weak, and in shock. Yes, our faith can be shaken as we instinctively ask God why. Grief is a powerful emotion that can shake even the strongest person. The confusion, chaos, and inner turmoil that result can sweep you away from productivity and plans for the future. It can drive you to a place of despair and depression.
