ALOGIC CD2 Dual 4K Docking Stations are designed to expand the capabilities of any laptop - engineered for compatibility across all Windows, MacOS and ChromeOS laptops.
CD2 docks feature a compact and stylish design that provides access to the main ports required in home office, education and corporate environments.
These docks provide for connection of up to two external monitors, gigabit Ethernet networking, SD cards and USB-C and USB-A peripherals as well as allowing charging of a laptop when an external USB PD power adapter is connected.
Compact but powerful, this dock is an ideal companion for any laptop.
Dual Display: Up to 4K
Powered by DisplayLink, CD2 docks can connect up to two external displays at 4K resolutions via twin DisplayPort outputs for enhanced workstation display capabilities.
DisplayLink technology ensures that the highest possible resolutions are available to all computers regardless of the model or whether they are connected using USB-C or USB-A.
Universal Connectivity
These docking stations provide universal compatibility across Windows, Mac and Chromebook computers and laptops and work with modern USB-C equipped as well as older USB-A computers.
In addition to supporting up to two external displays, the dock provides connections for all other standard peripherals including:
• 2 x DisplayPort video outputs supporting resolutions up to 4K
• 1 x USB-A (10G)
• 1 x USB-C (10G)
• 1 x USB-C power input (power only; does not support data)
• Gigabit Ethernet
• SD 4.0 Card Reader
• 1 x USB-C Power Delivery Port
The dock also features a lock slot for securing it to a desk when used in an office or shared working environment.
Laptop Passthrough Charging
An optional USB-C Power Delivery power adapter (not included) can be connected to the CD2 dock to power the dock and charge laptops with up to 100W of power. This provides a perfect solution to add multiple displays, USB accessories and Ethernet while charging your laptop all at the same time.
When connected to a host computer with USB-C ports that support USB Power Delivery, the dock will connect peripherals and charge the laptop over a single USB-C cable. USB-A enabled laptops can be charged from the dock using the ALOGIC DCAP-SPL USB-C Data + Power Splitter (available separately).
The CD2 docks can also operate without an external power supply while on the go, powered from the computer's USB port. The docks USB-C ports are not available for use when a power adapter is not connected due to power constraints.
