It is easy to take – only 2 tsp in a glass of water or juice 3 times a day (or 3 tsp twice a day if that suits you better) is all that is needed.

Prolonged use may cause serious bowel problems. Do not use when abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting are present or if you develop diarrhoea. Drink plenty of water. If fluid retention persists, seek medical advice. In rare cases, valerian may harm the liver. Stop use and see a doctor if you have yellowing skin/eyes or unusual: fatigue, nausea, appetite loss, abdominal pain, dark urine or itching.
