BowelScreen Australia is a Bowel Cancer Australia initiative to make medically recommended faecal immunochemical tests (FIT) easily accessible to Australians any time of the year.
Screening for bowel cancer involves a test for people who do not have any obvious symptoms of the disease. The aim is to find polyps or cancer early when it is easier to treat and cure. Screening is recommended every 1 to 2 years for people aged 50 and over with no symptoms or personal / family history of bowel cancer or polyps.
The test is
- Simple
- Non-invasive
- Highly accurate
- Requires no diet or medication restrictions
- Completed in the privacy of your own home
The Australian designed and manufactured test is clinically proven and reliable. The BowelScreen Australia and accredited pathology services are provided by Clinical Genomics.
Always read the label and follow the directions for use. Keep out of reach of children. If symptoms persist please talk to your healthacre professional.
