Note:
Cloth and pockets are not covered under this warranty due to natural wear and tear over time.
To ensure timely and effective support, we kindly ask that any product defects be reported within a reasonable timeframe following delivery-preferably within 7 to 14 days. Prompt notification assists us in assessing and resolving issues efficiently and in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
What's Not Covered?

● To maintain its premium quality, your pool table requires proper care. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from:
Improper maintenance, cleaning, or use of harsh detergents and abrasives. Misuse, neglect, or exposure to extreme humidity, heat, or direct sunlight.
Accidents, Abuse, and Wear and Tear
● Damage judged by us to result from wear and tear, accidents, misuse, abuse (including, but not limited to, burns, scratches, dents, chips, and watermarks), neglect, or improper installation.
● Placement of the product outdoors or damage from natural disasters are not covered.
Subsequent Owners and Non-Residential Use
● This warranty is conferred solely to the original purchaser and does not cover products utilised in commercial, rental, institutional, or other non-residential contexts.
Exclusions
● Demonstration units, floor samples (unless structurally defective), pre-owned products (with certain exceptions), and non-commercial tables employed in commercial or institutional settings are excluded.
● Consumables and high-contact items like joysticks and buttons are covered, yet damage due to misuse will annul the warranty.
● Damages incurred during customer or contractor transportation and handling. ● Labour charges and related expenses for removal, installation, or replacement in non-standard living/commercial/industrial environments.

Installation
Please Note: Some parts of the installation may require the use of power tools (such as a drill) to secure the slate pieces. We recommend having appropriate tools (including a spirit level, RapidSet cement, and an 18mm spanner) and basic handyman experience, or seeking assistance from a professional installer to ensure correct setup and alignment.
Installation Overview:
1. Unpack and check all parts
(Make sure all bolts, nuts, pockets, cloth, and accessories are included.)
2. Assemble the table frame
(Attach the legs and beams.)
3. Lay and level the slate (Adjust the three slate pieces to ensure a perfectly flat playing surface.)
4. Fill and seal the slate joints (Use RapidSet Cement or similar to smooth out the seams.)
5. Fit and stretch the cloth
(Staple the cloth carefully underneath the slate.)
6. Attach the cushions and pockets (Securely fix them into place.)
7. Final levelling and finishing touches (Double-check table level and clean everything down.)
A Few Things to Note:
● Some parts of the installation, such as levelling the slate, bogging the joints, and stretching the cloth, require a bit more attention to detail for a professional finish.
● A detailed Installation Manual is included inside the box.
● Scan the QR Code on the manual or watch the full install video.
Recommendation - Drilling may be required to secure the slate pieces during installation. This is common for slate pool tables and ensures proper alignment and stability.
Installation Video
Please check website to watch the Installation Video.
Installation Radius:
● We offer installation services for customers located within 3 hours of Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane CBD.
Please note: Installation is available at an additional cost and can be arranged upon request.
Levelling Post Installation:
● After your installation is complete your table will be confirmed as 'level'. As time goes on depending on your floor, your table will occasionally require re-levelling. This could be from movement of the floor e.g. floating floorboards or weight of the table during the settling period which can take around 2-14 days approximately.
● A Man & His Cave's installation team will not be responsible for returning to your location and adjusting your table prior to the initial install as professional attention is not necessary
● To adjust your table to counter these minor changes you would need a 18mm open ended spanner and level. Place the spanner on the nut of the levelling foot and turn in the direction needed in small increments until the desired level has been achieved.
● Doing this will not void your warranty.
Incorrect or careless installation may result in damage that is not covered by warranty. If damage occurs during installation or due to the use of incorrect tools, this may void your warranty rights.

POOL TABLES
Spare Pool Table Parts
We reserve the right to repair any table by sending a spare part where it has been deemed necessary by either our Pool Table Installer or Customer Service Team.
Non-Visible Component Damage
Replacement parts will not be provided for any component of the pool table where damages have occurred in places that will not be visible once the pool table is fully erected. Examples include the edges of the slate where cushions cover the slate edge, chips in the slate where putty or bog can fill the slate, the top of the frame, the top of the legs, and any other component that our customer service team can confirm will not be visible when the pool table is fully installed.
Pool Table Cloth Characteristics
Our premium thick pool table cloth is designed for durability and high performance. Due to its nature, small frays, minor lumps, and marks may occur. These are standard for premium cloth and do not affect gameplay. As such, they do not warrant a replacement or refund. Regular brushing and maintenance will help manage these natural characteristics.
Slate Surface Conditions
Slate does have the possibility to arrive with chips and slight cracks. Slate does not need to be replaced if the mentioned damages occur on the joints or where the cushions will cover or where it can be filled and fixed with putty. If this is not a viable solution (as determined by our professional pool table installer), then we will send out a new slate to you.
Shipping and Delivery Timeframes
Our pool tables are sent in two separate labels, so it is not uncommon for parts to come separately. We will be unable to action any investigation until it has been 2 business days from receiving the first parcel, and we will not send out a replacement part until it has been 10 business days from the last scanning event.
Professional Installation Policy
All customers must follow the official installation video when assembling their pool table. Failure to adhere to the provided installation steps may result in perceived defects that are due to incorrect assembly rather than actual manufacturing faults. Customers with a trade background should not rely on prior experience alone but must follow the step-by-step video instructions. Our professional installer, who has assembled thousands of tables, has confirmed that proper installation following these guidelines ensures optimal results. A Man & His Cave is not responsible for issues arising from failure to follow the installation video correctly. Our pool tables can be installed by anyone who follows our installation video correctly. Our professional installer, has never encountered an issue when following the proper steps with the provided components.
No Refunds for Minor Variations
Refunds or replacement parts will not be provided for irregular or uneven frame heights, as minor variations are unavoidable in manufacturing and do not impact gameplay. Please follow the full installation video carefully to see how to adjust the entire table as a whole before reporting any issues.
