What is potato starch?
Potato starch is a slippery, pure white and very fine flour useful in baking or as a thickener. Potato starch can take higher temperatures than cornstarch, making it an excellent thickener for potato starch recipes like sauces, soups and stews.
It adds moistness and a light fluffy texture to any baked goods and is an essential ingredient in gluten-free baking.
