Coloxyl Macrogol For Children contains macrogol 4000, the recommended first-line treatment for constipation in children.
It provides gentle and effective relief from the most common constipation symptoms in children, including:
- Hard stools
- Straining
- Discomfort from bloating
Coloxyl works by binding to water molecules, softening and slightly bulking the stool. This helps trigger a natural bowel movement, making it easier for children to pass stools.
Macrogol 4000 4g
Using the dosing table, dissolve each sachet well in water or juice by stirring and drink once fully dissolved. Coloxyl Macrogol For Children forms a colorless solution in water and typically starts to work within 24-48 hours. Begin at the minimum dose, and adjust the dosage as needed to produce regular, soft stools.

Store below 30°C.
Do not use in children under 6 months of age. Drink plenty of water. Increase fibre in diet, except in cases of medicine-induced constipation. Prolonged use of laxatives is undesirable and may lead to dependence. Use in children should be limited to 12 weeks unless under medical supervision. Talk to a pharmacist or doctor, if symptoms do not improve or worsen after a 7-day treatment. Do not exceed the maximum daily dose.
