The Elastoplast Elastic Tubular Support Bandage is a comfortable and simple solution to tired, aching limbs. It provides moderate compression and warmth to help reduce swelling and support joints during physical activity. The elastic bandage also doubles up as a quick and effective way to secure wound dressings. Suitable to be used as a preventative or post-injury option to mitigate pain and provide temporary relief from aches and sprains. The versatile design of the tubular elastic bandage means it can be used on wrists, elbows, arms, ankles, knees and thighs, this helps for that little bit of extra support.
FOR KNEE BANDAGE: Measure about 8cm at either side of the knee. Double this length, add about 3cm and cut. Draw the bandage onto the knee, cut edge first. Fold the bandage back over itself, taking the second layer 3cm further than the first. FOR PADDED JOINT BANDAGE: Measure about 8cm at either side of the knee. Triple this length, add about 3cm and cut. Draw the first layer onto the knee, then apply a layer of cotton wool strips or foam. Fold the bandage back over the wool. Repeat the process with another layer of cotton wool and draw the third layer of bandage to secure.
