The new pot has no oil layer, and it must be dried on a low fire when it is first used! Just rub a thin layer of cooking oil on it.(If you use it for a long time, you can no longer rub the oil every time.) This is also to prevent rust!
When cleaning, use a soft brush and warm water to wash it very clean. Steel wool and dish soap are not recommended.
If the pot is rusted, clean the rust with a scouring pad, and then repeat the pot‑opening procedure again. Uncoated cast iron pan, suitable for all kinds of spatula.
During the use and maintenance process, the cast iron pot can absorb the grease in the usual cooking process and form a protective film. It's an uncoated non stick pan.
