Ripstop fabric is a durable fabric that is made using a special reinforcing technique that makes it resistant to tearing and ripping. It's often used in making products for the outdoors such as sails, tents, sleeping bags, flags and banners to name a few. It will stand up well to dogs that are tough on their beds but it is not indestructible. If your dog chews or scratches destructively no soft dog bed will be a match for them.
