Breyer Horses Cash Quarter Horse ESSAY WINNER Traditional 1:9 Scale 10525

Every horse lover has had a special connection with a horse at some point in their lives, and this magic is what continues to inspire us at Breyer as we celebrate our 75th anniversary! In honour of the occasion, we held an essay contest with the prize being a chance at having your favourite horse become a Breyer model. A team of 12 judges poured through the nearly 2,000 incredible entries received. While we believe every horse is a superstar, only one could be chosen to become part of our line-up - meet Cash!

A 2009 buckskin Quarter Horse gelding, Cash was nominated by his owner, Andrew Monigold of Ohio. Andrew's essay highlighted how former lesson horse Cash taught countless children to ride before retiring and starting his life with Andrew. Their partnership rekindled Andrew's lost love of horses from childhood, and introduced the pair to their new passion, ranch roping!

We think Andrew said it best in his essay, “Being a Breyer model would show everyone that dreams of every level are worth celebrating and even small victories deserve rewards.” Cash's magic has touched countless people, and now we're bringing some of that magic to you!
