The IW25-5 In Wall Dehumidifier with combined Bi-Polar Ionisation Technology controls excessive moisture that contributes to poor indoor air quality, property damage, mould, comfort complaints, and possible liability risks. The IW25-5 in wall dehumidification system helps lower indoor relative humidity helping prevent moisture issues. The easy to install built-in dehumidifier system is suited for both new construction and retrofit installations in multi-unit, hotels, student housing, and residential applications.
The IW25-5 removes up to 31.5 litres per day in spaces up to 140 square metres*. This fifth generation dehumidifier includes an ozone-free Bi-polar Ion Generator that distributes ions which bond to indoor pollutants including bacteria, pollen, mould and odours, breaking them down and transforming them into water vapour.
How does it work?
The dehumidifier uses its integral humidistat to monitor the conditions of the indoor environment. When the relative humidity goes above the selected setpoint, the dehumidifier will switch on. Air is drawn across an evaporator coil and moisture is extracted out of the air. The air is then reheated through the condenser coil and distributed back into the room.
Installation:
IW25-5 In-Wall Dehumidifier with combined Bi-Polar Ionization Technology is recessed and fits in a fabricated wall or through a 90 x 35mm stud wall. For semi-recessed applications, an IDS Exterior Sleeve (sold separately) can be used. It will require a licenced electrician and plumber for installation.
