REDBACK 24/7 Timer & Evac Generator

A weekly timer and evacuation controller all housed in a convenient 1RU rack mount chassis. A total of 50 "event" switching times are available through the timing functions. Each event can be set to turn on from 1 sec up to 24 hours. When a timing event is activated, an MP3 audio file will be played with 99 playback folders to choose from, which include bell, pre-bell, music and folders 5-99 on the included micro SD card. If more than one MP3 is in a folder the MP3 will be random played. Timing events can be programmed on the unit or with included PC software.

The evacuation controller is designed around industry standard building emergency alert/evacuate requirements. When connected to a paging system amplifier, building occupants can be alerted and/or evacuated in the event of an emergency e.g. fire, gas leak, bomb scare, earthquake. Provision for connection to A4564 paging console for emergency paging and remote activation of alert/evac and chime functions. Remote activation is also available via a suite of wall plates which can be wired back to the controller using Cat5 UTP cabling.

The units timer and bell times can be remotely managed over a local area network (LAN) or virtual private network (VPN) using A 4498 ethernet adaptor pack.

Changes to previous A4500.
This unit supersedes the A 4500B model. This is supplied with PC software which allows the user to select up to 99 folders for Audio playback as timing events. With this new model MP3 files cannot be copied directly to the SD card. They have to be transferred using the PC software. The software also makes it possible to access the timer via a network connection using the A4498 network connection pack.

Warranty

Without prejudice and to the extent allowed by the Trade Practices Act 1974, The Australian Consumer Law and Competition and Consumer Act 2010, all hardware sold by MAD Electronics Australia is covered by one year limited warranty and is also backed by Australian manufacturer warranty. Where the manufacturer warranty period exceeds one year, we will advise the customer to contact the manufacturer directly for warranty support after the first year of purchase. Due to the nature of consumables products and software, they are not returnable or refundable items.

Any defective products purchased from MAD Electronics Australia and affiliates that fall within the warranty period provided will be covered, unless they fall within the following conditions:

· Physical Damage on the product not caused in the event during transit or Dead on Arrival (DOA) but caused due to mishandling, incorrect use of product for its purposes, improper installation of product, by accident, insect or vermin infestation, improper method or failure to maintain service and handle the item with reasonable care.

· The product has been modified using unauthorised methods. Any modifications on the product including physical and software modifications using third party unauthorised software such as third party firmware updates will void the warranty of products.
· The warranty seal or serial number of the item has been tampered with.
· The item has been serviced by another party other than madelectronics
· Consequential loss including but not limited to data, programs, software or other information stored on storage products, computer or laptop systems.
· Software

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
