Hydralyte Ready to use Electrolyte Solution Orange Flavoured relieves symptoms of dehydration and helps replace water and electrolytes lost due to vomiting, diarrhoea, heat, heavy sweating, travel, vigorous exercise and occasional hangovers. Symptoms of mild to moderate dehydration include: increased thirst, dry mouth, lethargy, decreased urine output, dark yellow urine. Suitable for paediatric use.

1. Ready to drink. Open bottle. Do not dilute. Sip Slowly.

Recommended dosage for dehydration due to vomiting and diarrhoea: Age in years: Under 12 months Recommended dosage: 100mL every 90mins Max. dosage per day: 1000mL Under 1-3 years Recommended dosage: 100mL every 90mins Max. dosage per day: 1400mL Under 3-6 years Recommended dosage: 100mL every 60mins Max. dosage per day: 2000mL Under 6-12 years Recommended dosage: 100mL every 30mins Max. dosage per day: 2600mL Under 12 - Adult Recommended dosage: 200mL every 30mins Max. dosage per day: 4000mL For dehydration due to other causes: Drink Hydralyte when thirsty or exhibiting signs of dehydration. Do not exceed the maximum daily dosage.
Seek medical advice if vomiting or diarrhoea persists for more than: - 6 hours in infants under 6 months. - 12 hours in children under 3 years. - 24 hours in children aged 3-6 years. - 48 hours in children over 6 years & adults. Contains 86mg of potassium per 100mL dose. Contains 106 mg of sodium per 100 mL dose. Quantity of sodium per maximum daily dose is 4.2g.
