Technical information:
Fitting your leash to the board.: the string is already assembled on the rail saver. Simply pass it through the plug and then pull and re-lock on the rail saver using the rip tab. The rail saver is now correctly positioned and ready for use. ; Beginners; Watch out for your fingers.: WARNING: never hold your board with your hands or fingers wrapped in the cord. This can lead to serious finger injury. ; Recommendations for use.: Our leashes are tested under tensile strengths higher than the forces found during use on a surfboard. However, always check the condition of your leash before going in the water. Micro-tears can impair its strength. Replace your leash regularly, especially if your board stays in the sun for long periods. If you surf regularly, replace your leash every year. ; Freedom of movement.: the double swivel reduces the chances of the cord becoming tangled in the water Also, avoid wrapping your leash around the fins as this deforms the cord and can cause damaging micro-tears. ; Side rail saver cord.: This strap prevents the cord from shearing the rail of your tail in the event of strong traction force. Ensure it is correctly positioned.
