FORCLAZ TIP: When carrying a backpack for a prolonged period, do not carry more than 25% of your own bodyweight to reduce the stresses on your back. ; HOW IS BAG VOLUME MEASURED?: The volume of each backpack is measured using a standard method: we use small balls to fill the main compartment as well as each pocket. We then empty the balls into a graduated container, which provides the equivalent volume in litres. ; TECHNICAL TESTS: We complete laboratory tests to certify components: fabrics, buckles, straps, foam, zips... for example, for a fabric: resistance to abrasion and tearing, colour-fastness in UV light, resistance to washing, waterproofing, etc. A test is then conducted on the finished product replicating the accelerated demands on the bag over the years to check the strength of the assembly.
