A wide-angle zoom lens, the 14-30mm is suitable for your widest reaching applications, whihc include but are not limited too, landscapes, architecture and astrophotography. Throughout this versatile zoom range, this lens includes a bright f4 maximum aperture, meaning whichever focal length you are shooting at, you can explore a consistent level of depth of field control, and shoot handheld.
Image quality is sublime throughout the zoom range, from corner to corner, thanks to the premium built which includes Aspherical and ED elements, four apiece. Both Nano Crystal and Super Integrated coatings have been applied by Nikon, which minimises flare, ghosting, and various reflections. In performance, the lens is a breeze to work with, with a Stepping AF motor providing smooth, silent and quick AF, suitable to a broad subject range, and both video and still applications.
