The focal range of this lens is exceptionally versatile, allowing you to leave it on the front of your camera for much of your shooting, including landscapes, portraits and even longer distance applications such as sports. The lens is home to an Optical Image Stabilisation system, rated at up to 5-stops, all but eliminating the term camera-shake from your photographic vocabulary. The Canon RF 24-240mm lenses Dynamic IS allows you to carry on this steady and smooth performance into your video shooting.
The Canon RF 24-240mm f4-6.3 IS USM Zoom lens uses both a Nano USM system and an STM mechanism, which produces a fast, smooth and accurate quality of autofocus, just as adept at improving your still photography performance as it is your videos. In a more modern and unique feature, this Canon lens includes a configurable control ring which permits you to adjust the important exposure settings of your EOS R camera.
