How to Use
- Apply a thick layer of Magic Iron Baseplate Cleaner onto the stained area of the cold baseplate.
- Turn to wool setting and switch iron on. Once the Magic Iron Baseplate Cleaner starts to sizzle, switch iron off. DO NOT allow cleaner to dry on the baseplate.
- Using the attached scourer pad, rub vigorously in a circular motion until stain disappears.
- Wipe off excess with a damp cloth. Clean steam holes with a wet cotton bud.
- After use, clean scourer pad using cold water.
Handy Hint: To prolong the life of your steam iron, descale your iron regularly using Magic All Purpose Descaler(TM). This will prevent element damage caused by scale build-up.

A. Apply a thick layer on the baseplate, cover with Glad Wrap, and leave overnight. It should easily wipe off in the morning. Use a Non-scratch scourer if necessary - I bought a tube of Iron Baseplate Cleaner, but the sponge has melted. Is that normal?
A. No, you must have had the base plate turned up too high before using.
